Project brief

Context and intent

I worked on this team project to demonstrate collaborative web development, database integration, and form-driven application workflows. The work centered on connecting frontend and backend pieces through a shared application flow.

Problem

Airline reservation systems need a reliable process for users to search, compare, and reserve travel options through a clear workflow.

Target user

Students and instructors reviewing collaborative web application development in a classroom setting.

Architecture

Java-based web application structure, JSP pages, JDBC database connectivity, and MySQL-backed data access.

My contribution

I developed assigned frontend and backend components, assisted with JDBC database connectivity, implemented selected application workflows, participated in debugging and integration, coordinated with team members, and used GitHub for collaboration across the project.

Current status

Completed as a collaborative academic project.

Future improvements

I would strengthen the validation flow, improve the user experience, and formalize the project structure for future review.
